Pickney Park: This picturesque seaside park in the heart of Rowayton is simply delightful. Grab a bite from The Rowayton Market or Rowayton Pizza and enjoy a picnic at Pickney Park. We love watching paddleboarders and boats glide into the harbor while relaxing under the shade of the trees.
Bayley Beach: Bayley Beach is undoubtedly one of our top picks! Nestled within Neville Bayley Park, this beloved local spot offers everything you need for a perfect beach day. We’re especially fond of the swim platforms, but the park also features a playground, basketball court, volleyball areas, and outdoor showers.
Rowayton Dog Park: Located at the Rowayton Community Center, this beloved dog park is a favorite among local dog owners. Fully fenced and equipped with double gates, it features doggie bags, benches, drinking water, a hose for rinsing off your pups, and of course, plenty of furry friends!
Greens Ledge Light Preservation Society: We love our Light house, and we offer boat rides out to the light house and to the Norwalk Islands. Getting on the water is really special in Rowayton. We can arrange a boat and picnic for you and your family. All weather permitting.
Food Scene
Rowayton Market. You need it they most likely have it. But just want an egg bagel or a breakfast Burrito and great coffee this is where to get it. Also they have great take out food, meals to Go. And they have a fantastic back deck to eat and watch the activities on the river.
Rowayton Seafood. The Restaurant is a popular destination for locals, boaters and diners seeking out spectacular views, authentic seafood cuisine and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Family owned seafood restaurant and market celebrating 44 years of family, community, history and seafood!
Brendan's 101 Rowaytons favorite Ice Cream Place and just a great lunch place. We recommend all the sandwiches, the lobster roll is very good when available, but my favorite is the Roast Beef 101 with extra Horseradish.
